This section summarizes the some of the collective projects funded and
overseen by the team at CanAsia International Development Corporation. Our team members have worked at senior management and
technical lead positions facilitating large scale productions and
successful deployment with top-notch technology development companies. Areas of focus have been software products for the
financial industry, ERP/CRM solutions and GIS. Some of
these accomplishments are presented below.

licensed by CanAsia International Development Corporation (Pvt.) Ltd.
- Order management and trading system
A
multi-market, multi-currency, and multi-product trading system was
developed for an institutional brokerage with presence in North America and
Asia, and remained in production use for 4 years. This project involved
brainstorming ideas for a new trading system, product specifications,
documentation, research on regulatory requirements, exchange rules,
FIX-connectivity with counterparties, stress testing, customer support,
and product version management.
- ERP/CRM for manufacturing industry
Our
team members researched, analyzed, help with the design engineering and implemented a complete ERP/CRM system for a hi-tech manufacturing facility that produces precision
polymer aligners. The ERP/CRM system automates the work flow of the
organization from order entry through orthodontic treatment and device
fabrication to billing, shipment and inventory management. It is
currently in use by more than 300 employees of the organization
including production supervisors.
- Treatment Planning Advice (TPA)
system
TPA is a web-based application developed for a medical
device company engaged in the design and manufacture of orthodontic
aligners. The system allows collaboration between orthodontic
specialists, general practitioners, and the manufacturer. The system
enables general practitioners to submit a new dental case and get advice
from authorized specialists to plan out their treatment. Based on the
finalized dental treatment plan, the manufacturer then produces the
aligners and ships to the general practitioner.
- Integration of Siebel with BEA WebLogic
server
The project involved integration of Seibel with BEA
WebLogic Portal Server to quickly access and manage key information
about contacts, opportunities, and activities in a Siebel e-Business
database. Our team members were involved in developing portlets for the
BEA WebLogic Portal Server which communicated with Seibel to retrieve
and update information. |
